Eu uso e recomendo o Wordpress, mas como saber se eu estou certo em fazê-lo? Vendo o que os maiores blogs estão usando. A Royal Pingdom estudou os 100 blogs mais visitados do mundo e chegaram à estes resultados:
A plataforma mais usada é o Wordpress, com 27 blogs o utilizando. Depois vem o Typepad com 16, o Blogsmith, que é um software privado da AOL com 14, o Movable Type com 12, e a partir daí vocês podem ver na tabela acima.
Como esperado, o Blogger, a plataforma usada pela maior parte dos brasileiros, só é a de preferência de 3% destes blogueiros. E o que isto significa? Eu estava certo 
, o Wordpress é superior. Na continuação eu incluí a tabela completa com o nome dos blogs, seu ranking no Technorati e o software que ele usa.

O Wordpress.com é o serviço. Onde você se cadastra e cria o seu blog gratuitamente assim: "seublog.wordpress.com". O Wordpress normal (wordpress.org) é o código do wordpress, que você instala no seu servidor. =D
